Bishop Mark Burlinson

Mark and his wife Jane are lead pastors of Catch The Fire Myrtle Beach, a
church family that prioritizes God’s presence over programs with the goal that
each person discovers and develops their God-given destiny. He is originally
from England and came to South Carolina in 2002 via Toronto, Canada,
where they had the privilege of serving on the Toronto Airport Christian
Fellowship leadership team. Mark was saved as a student in his first week at
university and has been in ministry for over 40 years. He was ordained in July
1998. In addition to master’s and bachelor’s degrees in theology, he has a
bachelor’s degree in plant science from the University of London. Mark’s
passion is to see leaders in the Body of Christ raised, released, equipped, and
encouraged. He enjoys helping churches start Bible Schools with Ministry
International Institute. He is also a certified communication coach and coach
trainer with Life Languages™ International.
