Bishop Dr. Ken Balfour

MII Regional Bishop - West Indies & Overseer of Caribbean MII Institute

Dr. Ken Balfour was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies. He is the husband of the beautiful Dr. Angelique Ramnarine- Balfour and currently lives in two homes, one in Trinidad and the other Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Pastor Ken is also an engineer at the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) of Trinidad and Tobago, with 18+ years of experience in the industry.  His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of the West Indies (UWI).  Topics from his thesis were presented at the Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA) Conference in Barbados and other aspects of his scientific research paper were published in the West Indian Journal of Engineering (Volume 37 Number 1).  Pastor Ken is a qualified lifeguard and holds an ‘Award of Merit’ from the Trinidad and Tobago Life Saving Society.

At age 18, Pastor Ken served at the Kelly Bible Baptist Church as a youth leader and Sunday school teacher.  After a near death car accident in 2006, from which he emerged unharmed, Pastor Ken’s heart and mind became more receptive to the voice and calling of God in his life.  In 2014, he founded Kairos International Ministries, a Christian, prophetic and apostolic church. Pastor Ken continued to enhance his knowledge of biblical doctrine by completing a Master of Ministry degree in 2017 and a Doctorate in Ministry in June 2019 from the Ministry International Institute (MII), based in Tennessee, USA.  In July 2019, he was commissioned as the National Director of the MII Correspondent Programs in Trinidad and Tobago.

In January 2020, Pastor Ken launched Kairos International Ministries Leadership Network and serves as an apostolic covering for five pastors in the nations of Trinidad and Tobago and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. In May 2020, Pastor Ken was appointed as one of the Regional Directors for the MII Correspondent Programs in the Caribbean and South America. In addition, Pastor Ken was ordained and commissioned as an Apostle and Bishop from Ministry International Inc. (MII) in the United States of America.

Pastor Ken’s long-term vision is to continue the work of the late Bishop Dr. Richard Jeremiah by launching MII Correspondent Programs throughout the Caribbean and South America that produce quality material and raise up disciples of the Word.
